A Clinical Experience with Geworin in Musculoskeletal Disorders

Abstract
|
|
|
As a trial-substance for combating different painful conditions in 26 cases of musculoskeletal disorders from July 1, 1983 till Aug, 31,1983 at Seoul Red Cross Hospital.We used the new composite preparation Geworin in tablet formal additional treatment with non-steroid antiinflammatory drugs.
Following results were observed:
1. There were improvement of general feel ig in 21 cases, relief of pain on motion in 17 cases and alleviation of tenderness in 17 cases by patient´s self -assessment.
2. Overall efficacy of Geworin was rated as effective in 71% of 26 cases.
3. Under short-term treatment insomnia of varying degree,a significant side effect, was observed in 11 cases,
4. Toleration was excellent in 42%, good in 15%, fair in 26% and poor in 17%.
